This month's featured performers are Stevie Mack, Gayla Johnson and Laurie McDermott. Stevie Mack has performed for Last Comic Standing, BET, Comedy Central, UPN, and SpikeTV. Gayla Johnson has performed for The HaHa, Comedy Store, the Improv, Ice House, B.E.T, Comedy Central, and SiTV. Laurie McDermott has performed for HBO Comic Relief and Lifetime TV Mom Comics. COMEDY WALK performers have appeared on Carpoolers, Pushing Daisies, Saturday Night Live, and Seinfeld. They've appeared in televised comedy performances on Comedy Central Comic Groove, Comedy Central Live at Gotham, Comedy Central Premium Blend, Comic's Unleashed, BET Comic View, and HBO Def Jam. They've been on radio with National Lampoon Radio, The Playboy Morning Show, Sirius, and XM Radio. They've appeared live at the Comedy Central Stage, the Comedy Store, the HA HA Club, The Ice House, The Improv, and the Laugh Factory.
COMEDY WALK is held in cooperation with the Los Angeles Downtown Art Walk, a monthly event that draws a crowd of 3,000 people to 30 participating neighborhood art galleries. Art Walk is held from noon to 9pm. COMEDY WALK is held from 8:30pm to 10pm. Art Walk and COMEDY WALK are on the second Thursday of each month. Both events are FREE. PARKING: Suggested garage is the Los Angeles Garage, 6th & Main, NW corner, open 24 hours, $6 flat rate after 4pm. Do not park in adjacent small garage on Spring Street because it closes at 9pm. Check what time your garage closes! Many other neighborhood garages, parking lots and street parking also available.
