COMEDY WALK brings laughs to Valentine's Day!

World’s biggest FREE comedy event presents a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Beverly Hills, CA, February 1, 2008 – COMEDY WALK brings laughter to downtown Los Angeles on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2008, from 8:30pm to 10pm. COMEDY WALK promotes comedy, diversity (this month's theme is Latino comedy) and downtown Los Angeles. Six simultaneous 90-minute shows on six stages, a total of nine hours of comedy in one evening. Each COMEDY WALK stage presents ten acts, with each act up to ten minutes long. Thursday, Feb. 14th, 8:30-10pm, Downtown Comedy Club, 501 S. COMEDY WALK performers have appeared on Carpoolers, Pushing Daisies, Saturday Night Live, and Seinfeld. They’ve appeared in televised comedy performances on Comedy Central Comic Groove, Comedy Central Live at Gotham, Comedy Central Premium Blend, Comic's Unleashed, BET Comic View, and HBO Def Jam. They’ve been on radio with National Lampoon Radio, The Playboy Morning Show, Sirius, and XM Radio. They’ve appeared live at the Comedy Central Stage, the Comedy Store, the HA HA Club, The Ice House, The Improv, and the Laugh Factory.

COMEDY WALK is held in cooperation with the Los Angeles Downtown Art Walk (www.downtownartwalk.com), a monthly event that draws a crowd of 3,000 people to 30 participating neighborhood art galleries. Art Walk is held from noon to 9pm. COMEDY WALK is held from 8:30pm to 10pm. Both are the second Thursday of each month. Both events are FREE.

The summer LOS ANGELES COMEDY FESTIVAL is May 1st to May 18th at the McCadden Theatre in Hollywood. The winter LOS ANGELES COMEDY FESTIVAL is in November 2008 at multiple downtown venues.
