- COMEDY WALK announces performers for huge downtown
Los Angeles event.
Beverly Hills, CA, January 8, 2008 COMEDY WALK kicks
off on January 10th, 2008, from 8pm to 9:30pm, in downtown Los
Angeles. Great comedy performers present sneak peaks of their
shows in an evening of comedy downtown. Near Main & 5th Streets
in Los Angeles. FREE!
COMEDY WALK presents 6 simultaneous 90-minute variety comedy
shows with breaks at the half-hour so audience members can stretch
their legs to walk to see a show at another venue. Performers
also walk to different venues to perform a second act. Comedian
Rick Overton says, "COMEDY WALK is the healthiest thing comics
have done in years." Sneak peaks and excerpts of their club
and stage shows. Each act is up to ten minutes long. Six COMEDY
WALK emcees, whove appeared in such television shows as
Carpoolers and Pushing Daisies, introduce the comedy
acts and banter with the comedians.
COMEDY WALK adds a sixth venue! The Downtown Comedy Club.
COMEDY WALK is the biggest, funniest comedy walk in the world:
30 comedy acts performing 6 simultaneous 90-minute variety shows
at 6 venues in historic downtown Los Angeles all within two blocks
of each other near Main and 5th streets. The free monthly COMEDY
WALK event is the lead-up to the massive 300-act LOS ANGELES COMEDY
